Sit to Stand

Build this in to your movements around your house. Every time you rise from a chair, a bed or the toilet is a chance to get the knee bending.

Stand to Sit

Build this in to your movements around your house. Every time you lower on to a chair, a bed or the toilet is a chance to get the knee bending.

Quads

Do this three times a day for 5 minutes. Make sure the contractions are held for at least 20 seconds.

Pedals

Maximize knee flexion range. Be patient with this one. The key is to start gently and increase the bend in small increments so pain does not limit what you can achieve. 5 minutes twice a day.

Walking

A small walk each hour you are awake is the aim. The distance between rooms in a house is ideal. Make sure you walk properly so every step is helping the knee recover.
